Matric Dance Raffle: R50 could win you a R500 voucher
19 October 2026
Dear Parents,
Our High School learners are hosting a raffle to raise funds for their Matric Dance, and we would love you to be part of it.
Fundraising for the dance is real community team work. It makes sure that every single High Schooler gets to attend and enjoy an evening of fun and excitement, without worrying about the cost of a ticket.
A ticket is R50. Every ticket is a chance to win one of 14 prizes donated by Lourensford Estate businesses and families in our community, from a R500 Mill House voucher to a Capestorm hiking bag.
HOW IT WORKS
- R50 a ticket, paid securely through Yoco by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
- Choose how many tickets you want, up to ten in one go, and pick the adult or the teen prize draw.
- Tell us which High Schooler sold you the ticket, so their effort counts towards the leaderboard. No learner? Mark it as a general contribution.
Your ticket numbers are emailed to you the moment the payment goes through. Keep that email, it is your proof of entry.
Yoco shows the payment as going to Eslo Minnie. That is the Yoco account collecting the Matric Dance fund for the school, so it is correct.
