STAFFING UPDATE IN OAK

Dear Oak parents,

I would like to share an update regarding some staffing changes in the Oak environment.

We are delighted to share that Nicole Meyer, currently the Assistant in Oak, has been appointed as the Guide for our new Elementary environment at Spier in 2027.

Nicole joined Newberry earlier this year as an Elementary intern, with the aim of preparing her for a future Guide role. Her internship has included a variety of responsibilities, most recently assisting Stephanie in Oak, alongside completing her AMI 6-12 Diploma.

As part of her AMI training, Nicole is required to complete a period of classroom observation, which she will be doing across the plane for the remainder of the term. During this time, Mandy Reisinger, who has been appointed as the Assistant for our new Rooibos Elementary class next year, will be supporting Stephanie in Oak.

We are also in the process of recruiting a new Assistant to join Stephanie in Oak in 2027. We have already welcomed several candidates into the environment over the past few weeks and will share an update once the appointment has been finalised.

We are very excited for Nicole as she takes this next step in her journey with Newberry, and look forward to seeing her grow into her new role at Spier.
