2027 School Fees | Newberry House

3 November 2026

Newberry House

Dear Newberry families,

We are writing to share the 2027 school fees for Newberry House Lourensford and Newberry House Spier. The Governing Body has ratified the fee schedule set out below, effective January 2027. The same fee structure applies at both campuses where applicable.

Thank you for the trust you place in Newberry. Each year we set fees carefully, mindful that they represent a significant commitment for every family, while also funding the people, programmes and spaces that make a Newberry education what it is.

We are pleased that tuition increases for 2027 remain below 6% across all planes.

2027 TUITION FEES

RESOURCE LEVY

The Resource Levy helps fund programme elements that sit beyond normal classroom tuition, including Montessori Sport and Physical Expression, the Edible Curriculum and school camps.

Camps are incorporated into the school's fee structure rather than being billed separately to families.

CAPITAL DEVELOPMENT LEVY

The Capital Development Levy contributes towards the continued development and improvement of our campuses as a whole.

PAYMENT DISCOUNTS

Families who settle fees in advance qualify for the following discounts:

  • Annual tuition paid in advance: 4.5%
  • Termly tuition paid in advance: 2.5%
  • Annual levies paid in advance: 5%

SIBLING DISCOUNTS

A fixed annual sibling discount applies to each enrolled child after the eldest. The sibling discount is applied before any early-payment discount is calculated.

AFTERCARE

Holiday Club fees will be communicated separately.

APPLICATION, ENROLMENT AND OTHER FEES

The main entry fees remain unchanged for 2027.

Cambridge textbooks and examination fees remain separate from tuition and will be charged according to individual subject and examination requirements.

We do not take decisions about fee increases lightly and remain committed to balancing affordability for families with the long-term sustainability and quality of the school.

We look forward to continuing to build a school that offers children an exceptional education, a beautiful environment in which to grow and an experience that remains distinctly Newberry.

Warm regards,

Alistair Green
Head of School

Chair, Newberry House Governing Body
